Last night was my first time at G Boone’s, I like the venue. As a not tall person, the stadium seating is awesome! There really isn’t a “bad seat.” It was a really fun show, Saving Abel was interacting with fans and watching the local bands before their set. South of Sobriety, out of Chambersburg, PA, opened the show and were great. Ignite the Fire from Taneytown, MD, had so much energy, they were incredible! They were in the studio recently with Big J of Defending Cain and played some of their new stuff. Cyrenic out of Frederick, MD, has been around for quite some time but this was my first time seeing them. I enjoyed Brian’s vocals. Our Hagerstown boys Calisus are one of my personal favorites, maybe it’s all the hair? They are always so good and got the crowd amped up for Saving Abel. Scotty Austin did his typical chatting between songs and engaging the audience. Saving Abel, once again put on a really fun show. It’s great to have a local music venue, I’m excited to see more shows at G Boone’s!
