I had no idea this was a thing! All the money for the ads, tickets, food and they don’t pay the artists who perform during the halftime show. Now, they do cover the “production” of it, to a certain point, but some artist have paid out of their pocket to make it to their standards or vision. I mean I guess I get it because millions of people are watching, so what better way to get people to find out who you are if they already didn’t. But, the pressure to come up with something that you won’t turn away your current fans has to be nerve racking.
Hey, but at least the Oompa Loompa dancers got paid!
