Before the final tally came in for The Best of the Tristate, The Blake verbally told me that if I did win for Best Local Radio Personality that I would get an office. This October, I will be with the company for 12 years!
I started out as the receptionist here:
This was my first desk. I sat here helping answer phones and if you came in to pick up your prize for the first 3 months, you saw my face.
Then I moved to here:
There was several desks that were on the back of this cubicle. I was no longer the receptionist and moved into the sales assistant position to help The Blake and the sales team. I sat here until I had Banana Bob in 2014.
Then there was a desk here when I came back and started as the Promotions Director job. I can’t remember how long I was here, but we did move the office around
and then I was in this desk:
as I continued working promotions, answering phones, helping listeners and popping on-air.
And now:
I am on-air, Best of the Tristate (second time winner), and sitting outside of our program and assistant program directors’ offices. One little desk sticking out from the wall with my Best of the Tristate plaque hanging a on screw that was left from something else. A huge corkboard filled with office First Aid and Emergency laminated sheets. I have squeezed some of my own stuff on it, but have had to box up a lot of my things because I don’t have any room for it.
I don’t know why The Blake hasn’t given me my office like he said he would. I won, soooo where is my office?? I need your help in getting him to do it!
There is a post on Facebook where you can leave a snake emoji to sign the petition to get my office. I have also set up Silent Amanda’s voicemail for you to leave The Snake Blake a “convincing” messages. You can call 717-597-9200 ext 1119 or maybe I just need to take his?! Let’s try the petition and phone calls first, then MUTINY!!
