So, my mom came to visit this past weekend. And of course there was cooking involved. But, it seemed that almost all of us were suffering from colds, or coming off of some sickness, including me with covid.
So, a blast from the past… we decided to make some cinnamon tea. Simple recipe. Grab a few cinnamon sticks, cut up an orange and an apple (peels and all) and boil it. Simple. First, it smells incredible! Almost like it was made for a candle. After it’s been boiled just serve like tea, you can add sugar, honey, or if you wish a capful of whiskey or brandy. Instant, delicious nutrients! Whether it actually helps with a cold, who knows, but it sure makes you feel better!!
