As you know, following the death of Static X frontman Wayne Static, the band recruited new vocalist XerO (commonly believed to be Dope’s Edsel Dope). The move to a semi-pseudonymous singer intrigued me, because it would neatly sidestep comparisons to the new guy’s (alleged) other band, and it would limit comparisons to Wayne Static.
