Recently, we had the big lottery that hit for $2.04 BILLION! Like a lot of people, I was buying tickets on my own plus in our office pool. I knew there were different ways for the pay out, but was a little surprised at the difference. The winner took home $997.6 MILLION, not a full BILLION.
