I don’t do Fri-yay, that’s Nasty’s thing and I don’t step on toes that way. But I’m not going to lie, it’s a good feeling to close out the work week. This week of course is the week of the Super Bowl, which for the second time in five years my team will be in, which is fantastic. It’s very exciting to see your team go for a championship, and this is the second time this year I get to do that. The Phillies made it to the World Series. They lost to the Astros but I wasn’t too sad; they hit a hot streak during the playoffs but they were overmatched.
The Eagles, on the other hand, seem to be getting hot again at exactly the right time. They match up pretty well against Kansas City. Should be a good game. Obviously I’m rooting for Philly but I haven’t been living under a rock… I know what a good team the Chiefs are. As a fan, all you can do is root hard, hope for the best, and wear your lucky unwashed since 2017 jockey shorts.
