If you follow my Facebook page, which you should – give me a like and a follow! You saw how my trip started. I procrastinated in getting my oil change and got one at the last minute at not my normal “local” garage. Well, after leaving work, Banana Bob and I had plans in Frederick to have a girls pedicure, dinner, and some shopping before we headed south to visit friends and then meet up with family for a mini vacation. We had a great time in Frederick until we realized the oil that had been put in my car was not out of my car. I used my AAA and waited HOURS for a tow. My mama & step dad drove from Waynesboro to get us…the least to say, it was a LONG night. So, we didn’t get to head to my friends house. The vacation was slightly delayed, but did meet up with the family and then the last day, I got so sick. It is a lot of TMI, so I will spare you the details, but it was a rough day. We did finally get on the road to get back home and made almost with smooth sailing. We did have a car almost wreck into us, but my quickness prevented the worse.
Lessons learned:
Don’t procrastinate
Don’t take your car to a different garage than she is used to
Don’t overeat, there will be less of a mess if you get sick
And just because things delay or don’t go as planned, it’s ok…make the best out of what you have.
