Question of the Day:
I was chatting with a friend of mine who mentioned that she had just seen Inception; had in fact watched it twice on consecutive nights. Having never seen the movie and with only a vague idea of what it was about, I asked why. She explained that she wanted to pick up all the things she had missed out on the first time she watched it. This, naturally got the gears turning in my mind and I formulated the above question. I was surprised at how many of the movies mentioned among the responses were ones I had seen. Generally speaking, I’m the guy who always has to admit, “No, I haven’t seen that,” whenever anyone asks me about a movie. Apparently I have a taste for movies with incomprehensible plots, even if I didn’t realize it. It’s made worse by the fact that I don’t have HBO Max or Disney Plus. At least not yet. I’m maxed out on my streaming platforms, and determined not to add any more until I can find a way to cut some expenses in other areas. So far I haven’t had any luck on that front.
