Last June, we tried to break the Guinness Book of World Record with the longest chain of shoes.  I was really wanting to have our names in the book. I would hope we would get to try again, but I just looked at the current record and that might be a tough one. I’ll keep looking for another one.  Anyway, Loudwire did a interesting article that included 20 of the Coolest Rock & Metal Related Guinness World Records. 

Did you know that Weezer has the most memes used in a video which got them a Guinness World Record.  ‘Pork and Beans’ used 55 different memes throughout the video. Maybe they should have called it Pork and Memes.

Did you know Kiss has the Guinness World Record for most flame projections ever during a concert. They launched 73 flame projections during their show on New Years Eve for their KISS 2020 Goodbye show in Dubai.  Check out the video!

Did you know Pearl Jam has the Guinness World Record for most music tracks ever released in one week. Their digital archive is made up of 5,404 live tracks from shows over the course of 14 years.
Did you know Metallica has the Guinness World Record for being the first musical act to perform in every continent. They finally hit the 7th continent, Antarctica in 2013 when they play for an hour to 120 scientists at the Carlini Station. Check out the concert here!
Did you know Iron Maiden holds the  Guinness World Record  for most songs featured in video games by a metal artist. They have 51 tracks featured in 15 video games which include Ed HunterRPG Legacy of the BeastSSXGTAMaddenTony HawkRock Band and Guitar Hero.
And did you know AC/DC holds the Guinness World Record for best-selling album by an Australian group. Their album Back in Black has been awarded 22 times Platinum and has sold over 22 million units.
