So we talked about cover songs again today, and as always it was a little bit contentious but never less than interesting. Also as usual I learned of a number of songs and artists I should check out, which is one of the infrequently mentioned side benefits of this job. As someone who appreciates new music and discovering stuff it’s a veritable treasure trove. I also like the way everyone’s got their own list of favorites and they’re passionate about their own choices. There is something to be said about people advocating for art they’re passionate about. It just makes for interesting conversation.
