Mother’s Day is Sunday and for me it is the greatest thing, being a Mom. Even though some days, I wonder what and why Banana Bob says and does the things she does, but I wouldn’t change it for the world. The unconditional love is priceless. That also goes for my Mom. Even though we didn’t have the typical mom-daughter relationship growing up, I know if I pick up the phone, she will answer. If I fall, she will pick me up (which happens physically and figuratively). If I need a pep talk, she is my cheerleader.
So, yes the flowers, cards, and dinners are great…but simply make memories in my opinion are the best. Cherish those memories, so when Mom isn’t here you will always have those memories.
Which brings me to a Nasty’s Nugget: A websigte Time2Play.com surveyed over 1,000 moms with young kids, and asked them what they REALLY want. The most popular answer was a NAP. The second most popular answer was a MEAL that SHE doesn’t have to cook. The third most popular answer was cleaning or help with chores. So, don’t get a new vacuum, just vacuum.
So, after my nap, I plan on making great memories which I could hope it’s watching Banana Bob vacuum lol!
