Two college students in Vancouver, British Columbia just launched a new product on Kickstarter which is a dog bed for us humans. They have named it “The Plufl” and it looks just like a dog bed, but kinda of bigger unless you own a Great Dane, Mastiff, Saint Bernard or Newfoundland; then it’s a dog bed. The two guys behind it say they’re both big nappers and when one of them saw a custom bed for a Great Dane, the light bulb went off! Let’s make it for humans. Why not just buy the Great Dane one since it’s big enough for a human to sleep on? Well it’s because they describe them as dog beds made to human standards. Well thank you for that! I have low standards, so the Walmart dog bed will be fine for me. lol They are made with memory foam and an ultra-soft, fake fur cover. Hey…at least it’s not covered in real dog fur! Also, they are not cheap! You can pre-order one through Kickstarter for $350, but they plan to sell them for $500. It does look like humans want them because they were hoping to raise $25k to launch the human dog beds and have already raised over $100k!
So, if you have a human dog lover in your life, the beds will be ready for Christmas!! You are welcome!
