Broken ribs suck, y’all. I know some of you know what I’m talking about. It’s vexing: sometimes it starts to hurt when I’m just sitting still doing nothing. Sometimes I won’t feel it at all and I’ll be doing something relatively strenuous, like walking or reaching on a high shelf (well… strenuous compared to what I usually do). And I haven’t been able to exercise in two weeks. I’ll be so happy when this thing heals up. Of course, once it does I’ll be worried constantly that I’ll somehow reinjure it.

You can’t win. And for anyone keeping score, that’s two broken bones in the first two months of 2022. I’m starting to think maybe I’m accident prone.
