I remember when I first discovered Queensryche. Man, it was a GAME CHANGER for me. The songs were a little more progressive, the drums were really a character in the music, and Geoff Tate’s voice was second to none!
As bands tend to do, there was turmoil, line-up changes, lawsuits etc.
Geoff ends up with a new band touring as “Operation Mind Crime”, and from time to time he tours as just himself.
I came across this recent video, and man… he’s still got it!
It may not be as strong, and it may quiver from time to time, but it’s still there!!
