I heard someone say (and it might have been from social media) that no matter how good you are to others, you can’t make them be good to you.
This might be true, however, that’s now why you should be good, or kind.
You should be good or kind because THAT is who YOU are! If you’re only kind because you’re looking for something in return, then you’re not really being good.
Don’t let what others do or what they don’t do effect whether or not you’re kind. Kindness in a way, is it’s own reward, not what you get in return.
If you’re only kind expecting something in return, you’re not doing kindness, you’re doing business. Don’t confuse the two.
Be the kindness you’d like to see from others, without expecting anything in return!!
