Hallow Creek is a country/rock acoustic duo consisting of Patrick “Boo” Rorrer on vocals and guitar, and Walter Russell Shipley III on guitar, bass, and banjo. Boo began singing at an early age in church, and soon moved on to sing in many different bands. His voice is unique, true to his roots, and soulfully engaging. Walter started out his music career as a bass player, playing in many different types of bands ranging from metal to pop, and soon learned to play a variety of instruments. He keeps the music locked in and embellished with his ability to compliment Boo’s voice with an engaging sonic pallet. Hallow Creek’s music has touches of old school country as well as modern rock, and with much originality throughout. Not only does Hallow Creek write their own material, but they have a massive catalog of several hundred originals to shop to other artists as songwriters.
