From the Line News: Waynesboro police are investigating a case of vandalism Thursday in Memorial Park. According to police, surveillance video shows a group of what appears to be five individuals walking through the park, during which time one of them tackled a tree. Officials said the tree was left damaged beyond repair. Investigation of this incident is ongoing; anyone with information is asked to contact the Waynesboro Police Department.
Seriously, who does such a thing? It’s a tree, it’s just standing there, minding its own, turning carbon dioxide into oxygen, and boom, someone charges it. What’s this world coming to when not even the trees are safe. See for yourself:
